Shane is a singer/songwriter currently living near Fredericksburg, VA.  He was born on Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, AZ, the home of the Enola Gay.  Shane and his family moved to air force bases in Whichita KS, Topeka KS, and Bunker Hill IN during his childhood, finally settling in Dublin TX when his father retired from the air force. In Dublin, Shane learned how to play guitar and write songs. After his school years, Shane would move to Austin TX where he was exposed to all the great music that Austin has to offer.  Later, Shane would move to Chicago when he took a job with the USDA inspecting produce. While in Chicago, Shane had the opportunity to check out the incredible and legendary blues scene that Chicago is famous for.  Finally, Shane's job brought him to the Washington DC area. While living in VA, Shane started playing his music in restaurants, pubs and other local venues. Shane is now beginning to focus more on getting out and playing music, and will be out playing more venues in VA, DC and MD. 

Shane's musical influences started as a young boy when The Beatles hit the airwaves and when they first played the Ed Sullivan Show. His other influences have been, Buffalo Springfield, the Doors, Simon and Garfunkel, It's a Beautiful Day, The Grateful dead, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Gordon Lightfoot, Jesse Winchester, Crosby Still and Nash, The Who, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Robert Earl Keen, Steve Earle, Richard Thompson, Leanord Cohen, and many, many more.

Shane currently plays 2 Martin acoustic guitars, a D-28 and a D-41.
